Emperor Theodore of Ethiopia. The backside of this drawing say "E. Neurdein. 28 Boul:d de Sebastopol, Paris." According to The National Portrait Gallery this drawing is from the 1860s. The brothers Etienne and Louis-Antonin Neurdein operated a photo studio in Paris from the 1860s where they advertised reproductions of famous personalitites. The brothers also published books with their own photographs, particularly of castles, churches and famous buildings around France.
